Can be funnier and I'll bet it will be

This is a great start to a what seems like will become a great series. All the elements are there and so much can be done with them. This is the setup of which good cartoon are made. And to Robbie2431--not all Americans believed Sadam had weapons...just the stupid ones.

Who is missing the point?

Perhaps I am missing something here but it seems to me that everyone writing the vehemently negative reviews missed the entire point. They claim racism or ethnocentrism or nationalism or whatever you want to call it but the very point of the flash deals with the American tendency to ignore the sufferings in other countries. Whether this is the case or not, it is the perspective of this animation. Perhaps it could have been dealt with using a bit more tact but the message is worth noting. Other places, other people, other cultures exist that are equally as valid as your own. If you haven’t yet, please everyone, start acknowledging this fact.

What the hell is with that music?

I really liked it. I liked it better back when it was called Beavis and Butt-Head, but no, really, it sucked. Honestly, when dealing with a situation as stagnant as two characters staring into the camera the script must be stronger. Don't get me wrong, it is entirely possible to have a wonderful cartoon with minimal movement, but this isn't one of them. 1. Work on the script. 2. Either change the physical appearances or throw something in acknowledging Beavis and Butt-Head as a major inspiration, otherwise it's just sad (even an end credit would suffice). 3. Choose a sound track that actually fits the mood. Take this advice, please. It also might be wise to move the eyes away from a direct stare. When a character confronts the audience (as with a direct stare) it breaks what is called the "fourth wall." This is almost always a bad thing. This makes the audience uneasy and prevents them from having a purely spectatorial prespective. The audience is forced to be a part of the production and in the case of this cartoon, it is not the intention.

Great Movie

The prank phone call toon always makes me cringe. I'm am just amazed how some people can do that stuff without cracking up. Nicely done simple style with an abrupt end that makes little sense but I likes it that way.

Funny Idea

Not bad. I had a bit of trouble at the beginning trying to descern wether the story was accurately Bible based or the imagination of the author. Perhaps it would have been good to have this stated at the beginning or maybe stretch the humor even more so that it being a parody of sorts is apparent from the start. Great addition to the Portal.

Pretty Funny

It's a great cartoon but obviously in need of sound. I'm sure you realize this as well. Keep making this series. It will be a great one.

Hmm.. I'm not sure if it will ever really become a series, as I don't wanna keep ripping of the actual code-ninjas shit, and I really couldn't be fucked thinking of ideas on my own.

I'm fairly busy with university and what not, so series just means that I would have to allocate time to actually work on it... as opposed to my normal standard of 'I'll work on it when I'm bored enough'.

Cheer's for teh review though...

Short, Sweet, Hilarious

All seven of these Wily Shorts are great. Simple mastery of timing gets so much mileage with these things. I'd say that you are at your best when not using dialogue. The humor is so much physical that to use voice seems to hinder the punchlines. The audience gets caught up with the not so great quality of the recording so much so that the humor might escape a bit. Hilarious stuff. You should make more, continue the series.

Another perfectly senseless piece by Sherbalex

The style presented her is so great. Short, pointless, and perfect. Well, almost perfect. It seems more thought might need to go into the sound. You like a song, so you stick it in there. Maybe not the best way to go about it in this case. The animation however is great as always. I see something like this and know it is Sherbalex.

Does it have to make sense?

This animation is so smooth. A true accomplishment to make two dimentional vectors look three dimentional. What really matters is that I can see the author's intent, and the success of it. This animation is not meant to make any real sense and that is the beauty of it. I loved it almost as much as the second chicken is going to love that bloody coarpse.

Irreverency at its near best

The Waterman series is one of the best I have seen on newgrounds. While obviously taking inspiration from the irreverency master "Family Guy" (Stop saying it is completely its own cartoon WatermanAlmighty) it does to quite a bit concerning its own style. Give it a few more episodes to mature (at 5 now) and this will be perhaps the best thing on Newgrounds.
